Overview
In the 12x24 plank format, Dove supports layout options including running bond and herringbone patterns, both of which let the cool gray veining move in different directions across a floor. This size is also approved for countertop applications, extending Dove's marble look from a kitchen floor onto an island or prep surface. Breaking strength exceeds 275 lbf, and the glazed porcelain body resists common household chemicals without special sealing. A 3/16" grout joint applies to this format.
Design Note
A herringbone layout gives Dove's silvery veining more visual direction and works well in kitchens or entryways meant to feel a little more formal. Laid in a straight running bond, the same tile settles into a quieter, more contemporary background for a room's other finishes. Charcoal cabinetry or matte black plumbing fixtures both read well against Dove's cool undertone.
