Overview
Cut to a 12x24 plank format, Magnolia opens up layout options beyond a standard grid, including running bond and herringbone patterns that give a floor more visual rhythm. This size is also listed for countertop use, so the same warm marble look can extend from a kitchen floor to an island surface. Glazed porcelain construction keeps water absorption under 0.5%, and the tile meets DCOF requirements for wet interior floors. A 3/16" grout joint applies, with brick-joint overlap held to 33% given the tile's length.
Design Note
The elongated shape of 12x24 tends to lengthen a room visually when laid in a running bond pattern, which makes it a good fit for narrower kitchens, hallways, or galley-style baths. Because Magnolia's veining is subtle rather than bold, a herringbone layout adds movement without overwhelming the space. Warm wood cabinetry or furniture continues the tile's gold undertone rather than fighting it.
